Ecommerce & Checkout Development
We build the parts of an online store that handle money: product catalogues, the cart, checkout, and what happens to an order after it is paid. It is the work we have done the most, on live stores for clients in the USA, the UK and Europe. On these sites a wrong total or a missing order is lost revenue, so we test this part the hardest.
Good for: retailers, product brands and meal-delivery businesses that sell through their own website.

Do you build on Shopify or custom?
Mostly custom, built with Next.js, React and Node.js. That suits businesses whose pricing, ordering or delivery rules don't fit a standard template. If Shopify or a similar platform would do the job for less, we will tell you on the first call.
Can you fix or extend an existing store instead of rebuilding it?
Yes. We can work on a store that is already live: fixing checkout bugs, adding payment methods or delivery rules, or making it faster, without starting again.
How do you stop orders being lost or totals going wrong?
Prices, discounts and fees are calculated on the server, not in the browser. An order is only marked as paid after the payment provider confirms it, and each order keeps a record of exactly what the customer saw and paid.
