Working with us
What does Shivarva Technologies do?
Shivarva Technologies is a software development company. We build ecommerce sites, payment integrations, web and mobile apps, custom software and SaaS for businesses in the US, UK and Europe, and we also help with cloud hosting and AI features.
Where is Shivarva based, and do you work US and UK hours?
We are based in Ahmedabad, India. Our working hours overlap with US mornings and UK afternoons, so calls and releases can happen during your working day.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on what you need. Small fixed-price jobs, like a Stripe integration, start at $250. For bigger projects we have a short call, agree the scope in writing and give you a fixed quote. Ongoing work is billed as a monthly retainer. You always know the price before we start.
How long does it take to build an ecommerce site or web app?
Small integrations take a few days. A full custom build usually takes from a few weeks to a few months, depending on size. Every fixed-price proposal includes a delivery date, and you can follow progress on a test link that we update weekly.
Who owns the code and the accounts?
You do. The code, repositories, hosting and payment accounts are set up in your name, and we document the work so another developer could take it over.
Can you take over an existing website or codebase?
Yes. We start by reviewing the code so you know what you have. Then we can fix checkout or payment problems, add features or make the site faster.
Which technologies do you use?
For the front end we use Next.js, React, React Native and TypeScript. For the back end, Node.js, Python/FastAPI and ASP.NET Core with PostgreSQL. Payments run on Stripe and Authorize.net, hosting on AWS and Cloudflare, and AI features on the Claude and OpenAI APIs.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We can sign your NDA before you share any project details, and we don't name clients publicly without their written permission.
How do we communicate during a project?
We set up one chat channel for the project, send a written update every week and share a test link you can check any time. You always have a named person to contact, and we reply to new enquiries within one business day.
How do you invoice international clients?
International clients are invoiced in USD as an export of services from India, with no Indian GST added. Indian clients are invoiced in INR with GST.
About our services
More on each at Services.
Do you build on Shopify or custom?
Mostly custom, built with Next.js, React and Node.js. That suits businesses whose pricing, ordering or delivery rules don't fit a standard template. If Shopify or a similar platform would do the job for less, we will tell you on the first call.
Can you fix or extend an existing store instead of rebuilding it?
Yes. We can work on a store that is already live: fixing checkout bugs, adding payment methods or delivery rules, or making it faster, without starting again.
How do you stop orders being lost or totals going wrong?
Prices, discounts and fees are calculated on the server, not in the browser. An order is only marked as paid after the payment provider confirms it, and each order keeps a record of exactly what the customer saw and paid.
How much does a Stripe integration cost?
Our fixed-price Stripe package starts at $250. That adds one-time payments to an existing React, Next.js or Node.js app and takes about three days. Subscriptions, saved cards or a second gateway are quoted separately once we know what you need.
Can you integrate Authorize.net as well as Stripe?
Yes. We have run both together on a live US ordering site, and we can add either one to an app you already have.
Is card data stored on our servers?
No. Card details go straight to Stripe or Authorize.net through their own secure fields, so card numbers never reach your server. This also keeps your PCI compliance work to a minimum.
Which technologies do you build web apps with?
Mostly Next.js, React and TypeScript for the front end, Node.js, Python/FastAPI or ASP.NET Core for the back end, PostgreSQL for the database, and React Native for mobile.
Do you also design the product, or only develop it?
Both. We agree the screens and the technical plan with you before development starts, so you know what you are getting before paying for the build.
Can you build an MVP for a SaaS idea?
Yes. We work out the smallest version you can start charging for, build it properly, and keep improving it after launch if you want us to.
Can you replace our spreadsheets or a tool like Zoho with custom software?
Yes. Stock, billing, customer and supplier records, purchases and reports are common requests. If a ready-made tool would cost you less, we will say so.
Can you reduce our hosting bill?
Often, yes. Many small and medium apps can move to serverless hosting and pay much less than for a server that runs all the time. We start with a written review so you can see the saving before anything changes.
Do you build AI features into existing products?
Yes. Usually we add one feature, such as document reading, search or an assistant, to software you already have.
Still have a question?
