Online ordering, payments & delivery platform

the challenge

A US food business takes orders through its own website. For each order, the customer has to be verified, the address has to be inside the delivery area, the payment has to go through, and the kitchen has to receive the order exactly as it was placed. The business wanted this built and maintained without hiring its own developers.

what we built

We built and looked after the customer-facing ordering site, from the menu to the confirmed order, along with the integrations around it and the regular fixes and new features a live site needs.

• Ordering flow from the menu, through the cart, to a paid and confirmed order
• Stripe and Authorize.net payments, both live on the same site
• Third-party ID verification as part of sign-up and ordering
• Delivery-area checks using Google Maps, so orders only come from addresses the business can reach
• Feature work, bug fixing and production support as the business changed
