Shivarva Billing: GST invoicing app
Our own GST billing app for Indian businesses. It works out tax automatically, numbers invoices without gaps, reads old bills with AI and exports the GSTR-1 file for filing.

the challenge
Many small Indian businesses either edit old invoice PDFs by hand or pay every month for accounting software they barely use. Invoice numbers end up with gaps, totals don't match, and at the end of the month the accountant still needs a GSTR-1 file.
what we built
A GST billing web app that supports more than one business, which we designed, built and run ourselves. It can be installed on a computer or phone.
- CGST, SGST and IGST worked out automatically, including export of services under LUT
- Invoice numbers without gaps for each business and financial year, and editable when needed
- Quotations, purchase bills, credit notes and payment tracking
- Bills made in other software read by AI (Claude API) and checked by a person before saving
- GSTR-1 export in the government offline-tool format
- Each business's data kept separate in the database
the result
We issue our own invoices from it, and it runs on serverless hosting that costs very little.
